Configuration - Groups & Users | Notices

Configuration is a powerful flexible capability used regularly within dBOSSTM, not just at the initial system establishment and set-up.

Groups & Users
Beginning with the requisite capability to define User access and capabilities across various functions within dBOSS, each user’s access is defined by a Group. The Administrator determines which dBOSS Permissions and Properties will be available to that Group and it’s users as well as some functionality. In order to operate your business efficiently, there is no limit as to the number of Groups. This gives you sufficient flexibility in defining User read and read/write capabilities as well as other permission sets in dBOSS.

Creating new users is very simple as it leverages the existing user Contact Information stored in the company Category elsewhere in the platform. It is a tenet of dBOSS that any discrete information is entered one time and then leveraged throughout the system to ensure date consistency and integrity.

Notices
dBOSS automatically keeps tracks of all PoPs and related infrastructure information generated throughout dBOSS, along with the customers associated with that infrastructure. Should a service outage occur, customers can be programmatically notified by a phone call with a brief pre-recorded message stating you are aware of the outage situation and is working on a resolution. Once the issue is resolved, dBOSS will then notify your customers, giving you a higher level of proactive customer service, and at the same time, keeping call volume down during an outage.
