Asset Management

From acquisition to decommission, all Assets are tracked with a complete history available at any time. As they move from site-to-site, physical elements, including vehicles and field engineers, as well as logical elements can be described and managed in the Asset Management system.

Purchase and/or Requisition requests can be created and a certain amount of workflow is associated with this activity in terms of vendor Schedule & Tickets and warehouse management.

As inventory assets are moved from location to location, a complete history of that movement is automatically recorded by the system. This history can be accessed from the Asset Management function and custom reports are available. When inventory is assigned to a specific location or customer, Asset Management is automatically reflects that assignment of inventory by function. When inventory is unassigned or moved outside the Asset Management area, it again is automatically updated and the history of the item or facility is kept in tact.

Barcode and RFID support is built into the Asset Management system architecture. Additionally, free form notes can be attached to every item in inventory for a quick and easy way to add any crucial information.
